Aquall staff have 20 years’ experience in the development of solutions to challenging water problems, ranging from the development of novel disinfectants, the design and implementation of emerging technologies, troubleshooting of water treatment systems and aiding in patent approval.
Process Development – Industrial Waste
Industry: Oil & Gas
Location: Northern Territory, Australia
Aquall was engaged to develop a process to treat a waste stream containing metals, ammonium (1%) and citric acid (2.5%). Several process options were developed and tested at bench scale before the preferred option was implemented on site at full-scale.
Model Development – Facilitated Evaporation
Industry: Oil & Gas/Mining
Location: New South Wales, Australia
Aquall was engaged to incorporate a particulate matter (PM) emission component to a facilitated evaporation model. This project involved data review and the establishment of a correction factor into the existing model.
Process Development – Waste Reuse
Industry: Mining
Location: Queensland, Australia
Aquall was engaged to develop a process to treat an industrial waste stream for reuse. The process required solids, metals, oil and grease removal from a non-aqueous medium. A process was developed including bench scale testing.
Procedure Development – Water Tank Commissioning
Industry: Education
Location: New South Wales, Australia
Aquall assisted an industrial plumbing group with the installation of a potable water tank at a university in New South Wales. A chlorination dosage model, tank disinfection procedure and log sheet were developed and implemented on site to demonstrate compliance with university disinfection standards.
